  • BlueGranite is a software company which provides custom solutions using Microsoft tools, including .NET, collaboration, and business intelligence solutions
  • Technologies used include Visual Studio .NET 2005 and 2008, ASP .NET, SQL Server 2005 and 2008, PerformancePoint 2007 and 2010, SharePoint 2007 and 2010, and ProClarity

January 2005 - February 2006

  • Member of the Client Services team, responsible for maintaining code for client projects and developing enhancements requested by the client
  • Most projects written in ASP .NET and SQL Server 2000, with others in ASP, Visual Basic 6, and Perl.

March 2006 - Present

  • Member of the Business Intelligence team, responsible for developing Business Intelligence solutions, which help business leaders make better decisions for their business
  • These projects are written using SQL Server 2005/2008, PerformancePoint 2007/2010, ProClarity, and some custom ASP .NET pages

  • Spring 2004 - Made a website for Greg Russell’s campaign for District Judge
  • Summer 2006 - Made a website for the Grand Rapids Rowing Association and trained the GRRA to maintain and update the site (www.grrowing.org)

President, Red Button Games at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI
  • Red Button Games is a student organization to maintain a community on campus for computer game development
  • Cofounder of the organization, first President
  • Organizes events, leads planning for projects, and created and helps maintain the website (www.ceas.wmich.edu/rbgames)

Webmaster, Portage Northern Bands, Portage, MI

  • Designed and maintained the Portage Northern Bands website from Fall 2003 to Spring 2005
  • Created two short 3D animations to advertise the 2002 and 2004 Marching Band shows
